A poetry slam is a high-energy, competitive event where poets perform original work and are judged by audience-selected judges. Poets bring the heat with powerful words, and the crowd helps decide the winner!
📢 Two rounds of spoken word intensity—audience picks the winner!
💰 1st Place Winner Takes ALL: $100 CASH PRIZE
🎟 $5 + tax & fees online | $8 (tax & fees included) at the door
✅ Poets must check in 30 minutes before the show for random slot selection.
✅ All poems must be original works.
✅ 3-minute 30-second time limit (with a 10-second grace period). Going over? Point deductions apply!
❌ No props, costumes, or musical instruments (including removing clothing).
❌ Poems must be performed solo.
📖 Poets can read from paper or electronic devices (as long as they’re not used as props).
🔥 After Round 1, six competitors will be eliminated!
