Description:

Baha Hilo is a Palestinian educator, social activist, and human rights advocate born and raised in Bethlehem, Palestine. With a degree in Sociology from Birzeit University, Baha has dedicated his life to raising awareness of the realities faced by the Palestinian people under Israeli policies.

Baha is the co-founder of "To Be There," an educational initiative that organizes immersive experiences. Through these programs, he demystifies complex issues related to Israeli apartheid, ethnic cleansing, Zionism, and the military oppression of Palestinians. In addition to "To Be There," Baha co-founded The Citadel, a multipurpose cultural space in Beit Sahour, which hosts educational, artistic, and cultural events. His work has also included collaborations with international humanitarian organizations such as the UN, YMCA/YWCA Joint Advocacy Initiative, and the Badil Centre for Residency and Refugee Rights.

Join us for an evening with Baha as he shares his ongoing work in the region.
