Join us to learn how to have less stress and spend more time in your Happy Place!
HIGHWAY TO YOUR HAPPY PLACE is based on a premise that has never been employed before. The majority of human stress is a side effect of our amazing skills, such as your skill to envision the future and the side effect of worrying about it.
Worry, Guilt, Regret, Boredom, Low Self-Esteem and Overwhelmed are addressed in an easy-to-read format. Each chapter will give you a better understanding of the problem and easy to use tools so you can have less stress.
The last chapter is about change. I will show you how you can make a change in your life permanently. I have had a 55-gallon drum of stress and this book helped me navigate my potholes. I have shared the insights in this book with my patients for decades and now I want to share this map with you.
Please don’t resign yourself to living a stressed-out life. This book will show you that you have the skills to change and spend the rest of your life in Your Happy Place.
Gary Sprouse is joining us on the Busboys stage to share “innovative strategies on how to reduce your daily stress level and how to regularly find your 'happy place,' something that eludes most of us” (Jennifer L. FitzPatrick, MSW, LCSW-C, CSP). Copies of the book will be available for purchase during and after the event, and Dr. Sprouse will be signing following the program.
This event is free and open to all. Our program begins at 6:00 pm, and will be followed by an audience Q&A. Copies of HIGHWAY TO YOUR HAPPY PLACE will be available for purchase before and after the event. Please note that this event is in person and will not be livestreamed.
We ask that guests RSVP in order to receive direct updates about the event from Busboys and Poets Books
