Description:

This symposium will allow middle and high school youth the opportunity to analyze the problems affecting their community and acquire the skills needed to develop and organize around solutions. At the end of this summit, participants will have some understanding of their sociocultural identity outside of what's been prescribed for them by mainstream U.S. society. They will also have the framework for a campaign they created to tackle the issue of their choice.
