Ghost stories are real! It says so right there on the label!
Wherever you fall on the spectrum of belief about ghosts themselves, their stories tell us much about how we view the afterlife and even the living world around us. Why are we so fascinated with telling stories of the dead and not quite gone? What does it say about us? How do these stories vary across time and culture? How have these stories been used by the living, both intentionally and otherwise?
Come join author and tour guide Tim Krepp as he leads a panel discussion to explore these questions and so much more!
ASL Interpretation will be provided.

More About the Curator: Tim Krepp is an author, tour guide, and general layabout who lives in Hill East with his wife, any children who haven’t left for college, and a mutually disdainful cat. His books, “Ghosts of Georgetown” and “Capitol Hill Haunts, explore the haunted history of two of our most historic neighborhoods. When not pontificating about the dead, he works for a student tour operator, bringing all those 8th graders to Washington, DC we all enjoy as a rite of spring.
