Learn about Beautiful Resistance and how Palestinian children, youth and families are empowered to tell their stories in a spirit of creative, social entrepreneurship rooted in shared respect for human rights and nonviolence. Alrowwad Society is a place where, despite the ugliness of occupation and violence, everyone can be a Changemaker.
Dr. Abusrour will walk us through the narrow passages of Aida refugee camp in the Bethlehem district, where the cultural arts and education programs of Alrowwad Society have offered transformation to Palestinian refugees and marginalized villages for the past 25 years, including filmmaking, photography, and the performing arts.
