Join us at Busboys and Poets for a Special Takoma Art Hop Community Jam.
Art Hop is a yearly arts Festival in Downtown Takoma which transforms Takoma’s main street into a neighborhood arts district. The work of over 70 of artists is installed in the shops, restaurants, galleries and on the streets of Takoma – from Takoma Park, MD to Takoma, DC. You’ll find painting, photography, mixed media, assemblage, fiber art, jewelry, glass, pottery, sculpture and more.
After you have enjoyed all the festival has to offer, swing by Busboys and Poets in Takoma for musical performance by local Takoma Park artist, Angie Head. There will be a live art/dance demonstration by DC artist Carlie Ann. Then we’ll have a community jam session so bring your acoustic or lightly amplified instruments.
Angie Head (A.J.) is a singer/songwriter/musician originally from Detroit, MI.
