Join us for a conversation with author Bethel Stevens to discuss her best selling debut book - Not a Cinderella Story
Not a Cinderella Story is a raw, deeply moving memoir that takes readers on an emotional journey through the life-altering experience of love, unexpected loss, and the quest to regain faith and find healing. The book explores the complexities of grief, the unrealistic societal expectations, and findings from neuroscience on how the brain processes trauma and how the body responds to bereavement.
Ultimately, Not a Cinderella Story is more than a memoir about grief; it’s a story of resilience and transformation. It’s a testament to the strength of the human spirit and a reminder that even life’s greatest challenges can lead to unexpected growth.
Bethel Stevens is joining us on the Busboys stage to celebrate the release of this memoir and share more about her journey. Copies of the book will be available for purchase during and after the event, and Stevens will be signing following the program.
