Description:

In Robert Schenkkan’s Building the Wall, Donald Trump begins his first term with executive actions, an immigration round-up of unprecedented scale, and a declaration of martial law, culminating in disaster. This dystopian future did not come to pass during Trump's first term. But with Trump set to return to the White House with more emphasis on mass deportation, this play has more relevance and urgency than when it was first produced. Its utter plausibility makes it even more horrifying. Our staged reading of the play features acclaimed DMV actors Lolita Marie and James Whalen. All involved are volunteering their time. Proceeds donated to the ACLU. Tickets and more information at playingagainst.com. Tickets also available at the door. Food and drink available separately.
