Some of your favorite stand up comedians will bring completely new jokes to you, mixed right in to a set with their best stuff. In The Womb: Joke Workshop, all jokes are conceived somewhere (see what we did there?) - let's hear the best of them and you can pick your faves!
Your lineup for tonight: Tarunika Anand, Katya, Nicole Lado, Cece Castronuovo, Sammy Murrell, Hannah Lebowitz, Jamie Mack, and headliner Dana Fleitman.
This show features graduates of Grassroots Comedy's "You Belong on Stage" Standup Comedy Incubator for Women and Nonbinary Folx, a program for aspiring comedians to build community and workshop material. About half of this pilot cohort had never been on stage before, and all worked hard to find their comedic voices and hone their five minute sets through weekly classes and support from some of the best comics in the DMV.
