Dr. Marie Thouin (She/Her) is a leading expert on the topic of compersion (positive empathy) and the author of the groundbreaking book, "What is Compersion? Understanding Positive Empathy in Consensually Non-Monogamous Relationships”. She has published seminal research studies, the first-ever encyclopedia entry on compersion, and is the creator of www.WhatIsCompersion.com, a popular website that features her research, blogs, and other resources on compersion. She is also the founder of Love InSight, a Mindful Dating & Relationship Coaching practice where she supports people of all backgrounds in creating intentional and vibrant love lives. Evita “LaVitaLoca” Sawyers (She/Her) is a black, queer polyamory/nonmonogamy educator, speaker, coach, content creator, and author of “A Polyamory Devotional”. Subject of the documentary “Poly Love”, she is passionate about helping people navigate the transition from monogamy to non-monogamy and avoiding the common beginner pitfalls. She’s also the creator of “Today’s Polyamory Reminder”, daily snippets of wisdom for living non-monogamously.
