Description:

GW's LGBT Health Policy & Practice Program presents an evening of discussion that not only addresses disparities faced by the LGBTQIA community, but also provides a space for raising awareness and providing insight. This panel discussion aims to aid in training healthcare providers on how to be more culturally responsive and queer affirming.

Our four panelists will discuss issues their communities face in accessing healthcare. Topics including pansexuality, neurodivergence, ace and aro education, transphobia, ableism, and discrimination. The four panelists are listed below.

Panelists:

  • Nathan Bernstein, Cofounder, The Ace and Aro Advocacy Project
  • Jake Didinsky, Founder, LOBO Initiative
  • Zhane Foster, Activist
  • Noor Pervez, Community Organizer
