    • The Poets Café is open to the larger space and cannot be made completely private

The Busboys Lounge

Busboys Lounge is the heart of our space. From certain vantage points in the lounge, you can view Busboys and Poets in its entirety. The Busboys Lounge may only be rented as part of a full restaurant rental.

Robeson Room

Robeson Room (Shirlington Village, VA)

Named after actor, singer, and activist Paul Robeson. The space can comfortably seat 50 people for a sit-down dinner or workshop, or up to 70 people for a meet and mingle, social event. The Robeson room is sound insulated, not sound proofed.
Room Capabilities:
  • 6' x 6' portable stage
  • Two microphones (one wireless)
  • Separate, high quality sound system
  • 9' screen projector capable of playing DVDs, VHS tapes, and cable TV
  • Projector is also laptop and Internet ready
