Truly conceived out of the mind of the community, A. C. T. O. R. provides the opportunity for people to come together and speak openly and honestly about issues of race. The intent is that each person walks away from the discussion feeling something—challenged, uncomfortable, enlightened, refreshed or reassured. Each month will offer up a new topic, with Busboys and Poets sponsoring a facilitator.

The Peace Cafe is a program which offers an on-going series of events designed to bring together Arabs, Jews, and those interested in working toward a resolution to the conflict in the Middle East. The focus is on encouraging individuals from various backgrounds to share food and conversation. Founded by Anas Shallal, Ari Roth and Mimi Conway.
Hump Day Groovez is a weekly musical series that takes place every Wednesday (hence the name "Hump-Day") nights from 9-11pm in our Langston Room. There is no room charge assessed to the performing artists’.
