Liddy Dole goes down; a whole raft of calls for Obama

It’s looking like a very good night for us Dems. CNN just called a bunch more states for Obama, including Wisconsin. Liddy Dole is DOWN, and that feels realllly good. We’re watching the crackup of the politics of fear, greed, and violence.
Dems just passed 51 seats in the Senate. The number I want to see is 60. With 60, we can simply bottle up the Republicans for the next four years while they come to their senses. If they ever do. It’s not so much the Republican Party I want to see defeated, it’s Republicanism: the theory of governance that says learning is irrelevant, thoughtful deliberation is a waste of time, and that the solution to most problems is to blow something up.
