BREAKING: Obama’s Chief of Staff

Reports are beginning to surface that Rahm Emmanual, the Illinois Congressman, has been offered the job of Chief of Staff in the Obama White House.  According to Politico’s Ben Smith, he is “agonizing” over it.

This selection has been a badly-kept secret around the media for the past few days, and more attention is being paid to who would assume Obama’s Senate seat when he wins the Presidency.  Emmanuel had been a front-runner, but now the strongest candidates remain Representative Jesse Jackson, Junior and Obama confidante Valerie Jackson.
