Q: What type of artwork do you display in your spaces?

A: We look for art that reflects elements of our tribal statement and challenges the status quo, with a preference for artists with a large body of work that is already framed and presentable.

Q: I saw a piece that I loved at Busboys and Poets! Who is the artist who created it?

A: Send us picture in your e-mail art@busboysandpoets.com

Q: How do I purchase artwork on display at Busboys and Poets?

A: All sales of artwork are facilitated directly through the artists. Pick-up can be arranged once the show is de-installed at Busboys and Poets. Can’t find the contact for the artist whose work you admired? E-mail art@busboysandpoets.com

Q: How often do you rotate the artwork at Busboys and Poets?

A: Approximately twice per year, or once every six months.

Q: How much of a commission does Busboys and Poets take from sale of artwork?

A: None! Artists keep 100% of the proceeds from the sale of their artwork.

Q: If my art is not selected for display, what other opportunities do you offer for visual artists?

A: We offer an artist series profiling different authors run by our art curator.

Q: Are some of the works at Busboys and Poets permanent?

A: Yes. What a great eye you’ve got! Here’s a list of all of our permanent collection.
